Mr. A.P. Chen has been a member of D-Link’s board of directors from 1993 until present. He went on to join the management team as Chief Financial Officer in 1997. Born in 1952, A.P. Chen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan.
Prior to joining D-Link, Mr. Chen served at Citibank’s Taiwan Branch from 1978 to 1988, where he held the position of Assistant Vice President. He later went on to become the head of corporate banking at Bank of Boston’s Taiwan branch from 1988 to 1990. After over 12 years of sales and marketing experience within the credit extension business, Mr. Chen moved from the banking circle into asset management as the Managing Director of Champion Consulting Group from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Chen has been the Chief Financial Officer of D-Link Group since 1997 and has served on its Board of Directors for over 15 years.
A.P. Chen lives with his family in Taipei, Taiwan. During his leisure time he enjoys swimming and reading. | |
