First of all, we’d like to thank for your full support in 2009. The global economy was experiencing profound disruption in the last year. Although AVerMedia’s management team and staff made more efforts than the past, the consolidated revenue for the full 2009 fiscal year has slightly declined 0.39% compared with the last year.
 

In 2009, the environment was very challenging which we never experienced before, but we still persistently invested in R&D, in strategic operation and in our people with positive and aggressive attitude. For example, we set up the global IT system: the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and other management systems. To strengthen our basic core capabilities, we executed Six Sigma project which made the staff learned a new method to solve the problem and applied to work. We also invested in R&D and reinforced the quality and quantity of patents to create a strong patent wall. Moreover, we devoted ourselves to the globally local marketing strategy. Aside from increasing AVerMedia s branding competitiveness in the target market, we also positioned us as the leader in the industry. We must unceasingly invest enough resources along with the organization development, so that we can ensure our brand is reliable international brand.

 

Established in 1990, AVerMedia Group entered the 20th year. We did not celebrate because this is not the moment to celebrate. Yet, we have to prepare ourselves and set the achievable vision. We can challenge the next twenty years only by doing so. For these years, we held our spirit of being down-to-earth, creating value, contributing ourselves, and serving people to develop our business and market. We developed our niche products, strived to manage the relationship with key vendors, and provided the products and services which meet with customer s demands. On these basis, the Company can unceasing grow and sustainable operate. Nevertheless, the business model or factors which made us success can t make sure we can be a leader forever in this competitive and challenging environment. So, we have to make a breakthrough for the growth in the future. Thus, we implement the new management tool to strengthen the accuracy of working and communication. Although the corporate performance depends on the global macroeconomic environment in certain degree, all of AVerMedia staff will do our best to create a higher achievement and profit to share with the shareholders.
